Condolences from the Staff of Holy Cross Funerals
To Josh’s. parents and family. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. No words can express the pain you must be going through and my prayer for you is that God will give you strength to face the coming days ahead without your lovely child. God bless
Words cannot express our sadness. Joshy will remain in our hearts forever and we will always cherish the beautiful memories. Please know we are thinking of you all with love xo
We miss you so much Joshy, everywhere in our home is something that reminds us all of you. Your crazy infectious laugh, jumping & dancing around to dub-step and Kerser, sitting with us all at the dinner table embarrassed when Bernie asks everyone to tell the best thing that happened in their day and all of us looking at you expectantly. The countless times we were driving Joshy home, joking and laughing about stuff he and Braiden had been up to, the plans for the future, what they would be doing once Joshy had his L's. Our hearts are broken. Driving down the Jinker Track will never be the same again. Only on Thursday last week were they riding their mountain bikes like hell-hounds down those scary hills, this will always be Joshy and Braidens special place and memories. We are so so very sorry for your loss, we miss him so much, all our love, Bernie, Andrea, Braiden, Charlie, Bailey and Branden
Fly, fly do not fear Don’t waste a breath, don’t shed a tear Your heart is pure, your soul is free Be on your way, don’t wait for me Above the universe you’ll climb On beyond the hands of time The moon will rise, the sun will set But we all will never forget.
Many blessings 💜
Joshua Dylan Gray, When I first met you in grade 7, you already knew what you wanted to do when you left school. You wanted to follow in your father’s footsteps by doing woodwork. It suited you perfectly. You always seemed so comfortable in the tech shed, moving around and making stuff with your hands. As we became closer, I learnt that you would join the navy if you didn’t take up a trade’s apprenticeship. Your favourite rapper was Kerser and your favourite song was God’s Gift. You always joked around and made me laugh easily. At Mt Binga, you improvised songs from whatever was in your hand at the time, which resulted in songs about sticks, garbage bags and macadamia nuts. You snuck into our cabin room and risked getting in trouble, just to tell us your latest joke. You were my go-to person for advice. I can’t count how many times I asked you for advice on anything and everything. You would happily help me deal with the pressures of schoolwork and advise me on different relationships. Sometimes, you would even take matters into your own hands, demanding to know why a certain boy hadn’t even held my hand. To your parents and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Joshua was an incredible person. I am very lucky that I was able to be part of his life for the last three years. I pray that you will find peace in the next few weeks, months and years. We have so many memories together that it is hard to think of just one.
Josh, i remember when you and Ethan first played Auskick together at Everton Park Primary, from prep to grade six we watched all of you kids grow up. We have so many awesome memories of you Josh, I am so glad Ethan had the privilege of being a friend of yours. Ride high mate x Wendy and Dave, my absolute deepest condolences for the loss of your beautiful young man xo you are continually in our thoughts.
I did not know you Josh. However I did watch you pass away in front of me, and think about you often. I hope you are resting easy, and wish your family the best.
Dear Josh. I never knew you but I will always remember the way my heart broke for you and your family as we lost you in front of my home. I pray that you have found peace. There have been so many people who have come by to leave kind words and tokens of their love for you so I pray that you will continue to feel that love.
Rest In Peace Buddy
